Black and silver set

This commission was to create a short Y-shaped necklace and matching earrings to co-ordinate with a black dress with a gold and silver print. After looking at the dress we decided to pick up on the black with silver and also to use a Y-shape design that would sit nicely with the neckline of the dress.

Plain black would have been too deadening, so black Czech fireploished glass beads with an Aurora Borealis (AB) coating were used, smaller ones for the main part of the necklace and larger ones for the stem of the 'Y'. Large silver seed beads alternated with them to give shine and contrast.
