New Life necklace

The brief for this commission was simply to create a necklace for the gorgeous pendant, a New Zealand symbol of new life. The pendant was supplied with only a thin black cord that was too long for its owner.

I chose a palette of greens for this project, including round semi-precious Aventurine, Czech designer glass irregular nuggets and centre-drilled discs in a mottled green and amber-lined jade Czech glass seed beads.
